Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — name, email address, and payment information when you sign up. We also collect usage data automatically (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Dial Dart service; process payments via Stripe; check that each business uses the $49 first week once (we keep a one-way scrambled copy of the card fingerprint, phone number, email address and business email domain used at checkout, also for an order we refund because that business already had one); send transactional emails related to your account; and communicate service updates.
3. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of payment data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (Stripe for payments, Brevo for email delivery), with Google (site analytics and advertising measurement) and PostHog (site analytics), as described below, and as required by law.
Google Analytics and Google Ads. We use Google Analytics to count visits to this site, and we advertise on Google. When you enter your email to start checkout or buy a plan, we send Google a one-way scrambled copy of that email (a SHA-256 hash, never the email itself), together with the price, so Google can tell us whether your visit came from one of our ads. Google handles this information under its own policies, including the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. Questions about this: email us at the address in section 7.
PostHog. We use PostHog, a product analytics service hosted in the United States, to see how people use this site so we can make it better. It records the pages you view, what you click, your device and browser type, and your IP address and the approximate location it points to. It also makes recordings of how visitors use the site's pages (scrolling, clicks and what was on the screen), along with technical details such as page load times and browser error messages. Text you type into the site is hidden in these recordings. To opt out, turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser: when either one is on, PostHog does not run on this site.
5. Lead Data
Lead lists you upload are used exclusively to operate your Dial Dart campaigns. We do not share, sell, or use your lead data for any other purpose. Data is deleted within 30 days of account termination.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the service, Google Analytics cookies to count site visits, and a PostHog cookie (plus some browser storage) that lets PostHog recognize a returning browser. Google Analytics may also use Google advertising cookies to measure our ads. You can turn these off in Google's My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com). To stop PostHog, turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@dialdart.com.
